1.4 Analyzing the city

This phase of design will involve the overall schematic design and continue the conceptual development of your project.

The diagram is the “beginning”, it is the key drawing that contains in abstract form something about the entire project. The diagram expresses one idea of the project precisely. Until now you have a conceptual diagram and a first diagram that deals with the program. Now, you will be working on a conceptual reading of the project-site and analyze pragmatic conditions in a creative way.
Start to get more familiar with the city of Santa Fe analyzing its territory. Particularly, you should focus on conditions that are important for the establishment of a resort, such as climate in different seasons, factors related to tourism and if possible urban elements in your site proximity.
