1.5 Diagramming the site

This phase of design will involve the overall schematic design and continue the conceptual and programmatic development of your project.

You should develop 3 diagrams & parties, related to the project-site and experiment with the program. Each parti should use digital or analog modeling techniques. Illustrate sequences and moments of each diagram. Apply operations and transformations to your previous study of the program; conceive your final diagrams so that they are related to spatial issues> the parties. Explain through your favorite media each diagram’s to parti process.
Read the site graphically in a creative way, but concentrate on orientation, view etc... Translate different “siting” possibilities into three-dimensional intuitions with spatial qualities. Your parties should contain ideas of: orientation, placement, edge conditions, views, spatial and infrastructural relationships.
While considering alternative options, try a first attempt to “re-read” your initial concept diagrams. Your site diagrams will become part of the generating process of your building spaces.

The 3 diagrams will be printed in 3 color-pages of size 11x17. For any physical parti's use mass models/ 3D-pattern models; scale 1/32”~1:500; materials- wood, foamcore, acrylic;

Narrate your site analysis through 3 diagrams exploring 3 site and program conditions.
See how to analyze cities through diagrams in the following suggested books:

Rem Koolhaas, “SMLXL”
Ben van Berkel, Caroline Bos, “MOVE”
MVRDV, “Metacity, Metatown” and/or “FARMAX”

Collect all information, images, texts, materials, and more you will use for this assignment into your folder.
